In my clearer moments, all I did was love

I've spent countless hours listening to Pat the Bunny songs on repeat. When he stepped away from music mid-2010s, it seemed like that was it. Then in 2025, he released first a single and then an album under Friends in Real Life. The single is buckeye which is largely a more positive and fun song than previous works. Lyrics include, "In a secret place, I've been a warlord and a surfer instructor, but in my clearer moments, all I did was love him." That was the inspiration for this button. 

The background is actually a photo I took in the Superior National Forest in northern Minnesota (with a filter on it). It was the last day sleeping in our car next to the lake and we had gotten up early since it was cold in mid-May 2025. A guy that I had met in the sauna a day before told us about visiting Meander Lake about 30 miles north of Ely, Mn. Around 4 or 5am, we drove the dirt road and passed over a couple of bridges, and this photo was me standing on one of those bridges.

Each button is assembled by hand in St. Pete, Florida, usually as I vibe to music and relax. I use a TECRE machine which produces long-lasting metal-backing buttons. I use glossy photo paper to print as vibrant and bold images that my printer will allow. At times, this causes quality to vary.
