After work each night, if the summer storms let us, Sam and I talk and chill in the pool to our rental house. It is my favorite time of the week. Before dusk there are mourning doves and blue jays, but as the sun sets bats replace the birds in the sky. This is one of maybe several designs inspired by the phrase "like a bat out of hell." In a solidarity sense, I hope we all make it through whatever is troubling each of us. I hope we all make it out of whatever hell we face.
